   As two other reviewers mentioned this is a nice set. Unfortunately when it arrived, the larger bowl had a chip on the rim and under closer inspection you can see it is starting to crack from there in two lines. I’m going to try to have it replaced and will let you know how it goes. I’ve been very happy with the other corelle pieces I’ve gotten, but have also had a problem with the 3Qt Baking Dish that is also made of the same material as these bowls that arrived broken as well that I’m also having replaced.

   I bought both the casseroles and the bowl set. They both arrived promptly, with nothing broken. And the shipping was free since I ordered over $25. They are stoneware, so they are more breakable than corelle plates, etc. But I own other stoneware and have never had any problems.

   It is a very lovely two piece set. And Amazon shipped it to me twice, and both times it arrived in more or less a pile of shards. I gave up, but from what I could tell from the remains, this set is a very nice heavy earthen bakewear. I’m not sure, considering the shipping problems, whether the set could survive normal jostling in storage cabinets or a dishwasher.

   I was so pleased with the Corelle products and the excellent service from Amazon. In the original order of three sets of dishes, one was shattered in shipping. Within several days another set arrived as a replacement unharmed. The return shipping for the broken set was easy and very convenient. Thank you for completing my dishes, they are so beautiful.

   The Product is a wonderfull addition to the kitchen , i have been using all the pieces everyday

   I couldn’t be happier with this set of dishes. The pattern is classy and the the glasses are very high quality in my opinion.

   This set is perfect for everyday use. Good quality and not expensive. Corel is always a good choice.

   i just got my dishes and i have to return them because one of the little saucer plates arrived completely shattered. Both Corelle and Amazon did a terrible job of packing the dishes and I don’t appreciate the run around. I looked to Amazon to get my problem resolved but they recommended I contact the manufactorer of the dishes. OK, so I do and then Corelle tells me that its Amazon’s fault (they get a LOT of calls about dishes being broken in transit) and give me Amazon’s customer service phone number to call. I call Amazon and they want me to go find the exact matching saucer plate somewhere else and buy it, then then they would refund me my money. WHAT? that is so stupid- they want me to hunt down a single saucer plate to match up my set?? so, instead i decided to just screw it and return the whole set (including the shattered dish) back to Amazon for them to deal with. i think i’ll just go to my local Bed Bath and Beyond and buy a set there. at least when i get it home there will be a better chance of it getting there in one piece! AMZAON YOU SUCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

   I haven’t used them yet but plan to use them in the summer. Great color. Matches the walls in my breakfast room.

    very beautiful set. It does well in microwave and
    dishwasher so far. I have to turn off the turntable in the microwave, because the dinner plates are so large.
    they could be a tad smaller, but they are very nice.

    The whole set is beautiful - I like the contrast of the red and black (I also got a green and a yellow, and the three sets together are stunning) and the square shape is unique. The dishes are huge, however! I had no problem putting them in my (very non-standard) cabinets, but the dinner plates don’t fit in the dishwasher and need to be handwashed. I also had a few plates that weren’t quite perfect, so when they’re stacked in the cabinet, there’s some wobble because the bottom of a couple bow upward. But if you’re looking for a sturdy, beautiful, unique dinnerware set in a vibrant color that holds a lot of food, these are perfect. I’d recommend you serve your ice cream in the mugs, rather than the bowls, unless your next purchase is a bowflex!

    Love the color and the black trim. However I hate how all the dinner plates out there,(not just this set) are so huge. A hair bigger and I wouldn’t be able to close my cabinet doors. I use the salad plates mostly, they are perfect for us.

    I ordered these from amazon around christmas, I like the plates fine. The problem was that they were shipped with no padding or wrap so by the time I got them the only thing that survived was a plate and a couple of the bowls. This may have been a freak incident, but it happened none the less

    Glad to find these! I use these for cooking turkey bacon…in the microwave…it’s hard to find this platter any more.

    Ordered these serving platters separately (not part of a set). They are great platters to compliment the corresponding dish sets - perfect match in style. Look for the One-Quart bowls also. They, too, do a good job as serving bowls complimenting the dish sets.
